PARKWOOD FIRE TRAINING
Parkwood Firefighters are required to achieve North Carolina Firefighter Certification (NFPA 1001 Standard for Firefigher Professional Qualifications). To learn more about requirements - including all courses that must be completed successfully - please consult the Fire and Rescue Commission resources.

Parkwood's Departmental Fire Training held at Station 1 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings (1900-2200) and on Wednesdays and Saturdays (during the day).

Emergency Medical Services Continuing Education Training is held every Monday night from 1900-2200 at Station 1 unless otherwise noted - come join us and get your Con-Ed hours for the year! Contact Chief Holland if you have any questions.

FEMA INCIDENT COMMAND SYSTEM TRAINING
Parkwood VFD is requiring all members to be trained in ICS-100, 200, 700. 704, and 800. Training, available to all personnel, can be found in our area (see community college links on the bottom of this page) or you can get the material and testing online. Some of these courses are new within this past year, so you may need to re-take them if you've had them from more than a year ago.
