Parkwood Volunteer Fire Department

The Parkwood Volunteer Fire Department is having their 39th Annual Chicken Barbeque on Saturday, June 2nd 2007, from Noon until 7:00 PM at Parkwood Station 1.

Come on out and join in the fun and festivities as the department celebrates another year of providing fire, heavy rescue, emergency medical services, and hazardous materials response to the Parkwood Community, the Research Triangle Park, and Southern Durham County. Many of the departments apparatus will be on display and available for touring.

The station is located at 1409 Seaton Road, near the intersection of Revere and Seaton Roads in the Parkwood Community off Highway 54 in Durham County.

Tickets are $7 each for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Plates may be eaten at the station itself, or you may wish to take out. Tickets may be purchased from any Parkwood Firefighter or EMS personnel. Tickets at the door are also $7 for adults and $4 for children.
